Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address (or phone number if you sign up via mobile OTP) and your authentication provider details (Google account name). We do not collect passwords — authentication is handled securely by Supabase Auth.

Usage data

We track the number of FAQ generations you make per day to enforce usage limits. For anonymous users, we store a hashed version of your IP address — we do not store your actual IP address. For logged-in users, usage is tracked by your user account ID.

Input data

When you use our FAQ generator, you submit a product or service description. This text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your FAQ. We do not permanently store the text you input or the FAQ output generated. The data is processed in real-time and streamed back to your browser.

Payment information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Razorpay (India) or PayPal (international). We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We only store your subscription status and customer ID.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized, aggregated data such as pages visited, time on site, and general location (country/city level). We only activate analytics cookies after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using your browser's cookie settings.

We rely on your consent to set analytics cookies (Google Analytics). You can withdraw this consent at any time via our cookie banner.

Contract performance

We process your email address and subscription data to provide the service you signed up for and to manage your account.

We use anonymized usage data to improve our service, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits. This processing does not override your rights and freedoms.

For EU/EEA residents (GDPR)

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure of your data ('right to be forgotten'), object to or restrict processing of your data, request data portability in a machine-readable format, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For California residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal data we collect, the right to delete your personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain our FAQ generation service, enforce usage limits on free and paid plans, process payments and manage subscriptions, send transactional emails, and improve our product based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your product descriptions or generated content with anyone.

Payment processing for paid plans. We do not store card details.

Analytics — only activated with your cookie consent. Data is anonymized and aggregated. You can opt out via our cookie banner or Google's opt-out tools.

Resend

Transactional email delivery (receipts, account notifications).

Essential cookies

Required for authentication and session management. These cannot be disabled as they are necessary for the service to function.

Analytics cookies

Google Analytics cookies are only set after you give explicit consent via our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and GA4 is disabled for your session.

Managing cookies

You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings or by using our cookie consent banner. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage logs are retained for billing and rate-limiting purposes. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer as it cannot be linked back to you.

Answrii is operated from India. If you are located in the EU/EEA, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EU. When this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses or by relying on providers that are certified under applicable frameworks.

Our service is designed for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
